United We Stand The Pan American Highway Association is a group of interested people working to promote tourism along Highway 81 from McPherson, Kansas to Watertown, South Dakota.  Highway 81 is the best route between these 2 cities.  Since most miles of the route is a Freeway Highway, it is your quickest route. The communities listed below are located along this stretch of highway that covers 491 miles.  The list starts at the South end and proceeds North.
